Read the article Leaving. Net(poor english)

Leaving. Net what can I say?
I once experienced something similar. But even in a world of happiness and joy of Ruby and Ruby on Rails, there are so many spoons of tar.
1. All grew out of ideas and some issues that originally settled in the dot net there are still the place to be, such options dll hell etc. etc.
2. Joy of dynamic languages. Yes you can do a lot of things, but we forced to use tests. In my opinion, the best framework for testing is a compiler.
3. DSL-writing. I never understood why it is believed that the ruby is an ideal for internal dsls. Frigging c# I can assure you no worse, and sometimes even better.
4. Ruby is not something that's really interesting. This is not a challenge to you as a programmer, this degradation is a sort of PHP version 2.0 :-) Better learn OCaml, Haskell, Erlang.

5. Likes discontent components for dot net present in the article, I assure you deal with some plugins for Rails is even worse. While I will not deny that Open Source enables you to hack the problem, but the question is when this hack will be Production Ready and time for parsing the plugin, how it works, etc.
At the moment there is dotnet matured enough. And objectively speaking, the development of the site on rails + cms far less attractive than the development at Orchard. And if Manos shoot, even nothing to talk about.
What am I talking about? if you want to to leave dot net then go for something interesting and not to the technology of 00 years. Other languages and platforms have a really new approaches for web development.
